Biomass Plant in the UK?
The images above were created by the design studio Matsys, established in 2004 by Andrew Kudless. It’s an example of an interdisciplinary design studio not afraid to expand into the realm of speculative futures. He combines with ease areas of architecture, biology, and earth sciences. His practice is a recent discovery through another blog, arsvitaest, and is now an inspiration for my own future professional practice.
Float that recycled polystyrene….and put something green on it.
So what do we do with all those Dunkin’ Donuts coffee cups? Make a giant floating recycled polystyrene platform-house-garden thing? Maybe. It’s one solution to our polystyrene problems proposed by Studio Noach. Plus I’m known to have a weakness for vertical gardens.
